Cooking/Reheating Instructions
These instructions are for any dish with the main proteins/ingredients below
Pork Chop – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Pork Loin – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Chicken Breast – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Chicken Thigh – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Chicken Tenders – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Fried Chicken bone in – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Fried Chicken boneless – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Braised items (chicken, beef, pork, steak) – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Vegetables – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Mashed potato – add two tablespoon of milk or cream and mix in while cold. Then microwave for 2:30 stir and then add 1 minute increments until hot.
Potato and rice – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Shellfish – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Salmon/Haddock/any flakey fish – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Steak (sliced) – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Steak (whole) – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Steak Tips – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Pasta Dish with cream sauce – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Pasta dish with tomato sauce – 350 covered for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
Soups (cream or puree) – heat in a heavy bottomed saucepan on medium high stirring constantly until hot.
Soups (broth) – heat in a heavy bottomed saucepan on medium stirring occasionally until hot.
Casseroles (lasagna, shepherd’s pie etc.) – 350 covered for 30-40 minutes or until hot. Then uncovered for 10 minutes to brown.
Pot Pies/Meat Pie/ – 375 for 30 minutes uncovered or until the sauce bubbles up through the crust. If the crust starts to get brown put the cover on loosely or a piece of foil to protect the crust from burning.
Quiche – 350 uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until hot
Mac and Cheese – 400 for 20 minutes covered and then 10 minutes uncovered to brown. If more time is needed cover again and add 10-minute increments.
Corned Beef and Cabbage – 350 uncovered in an oven safe dish for 20-30 minutes. Or microwave for 2:30 stir and add 1 minute increments
Baked Potato – microwave uncovered for 2 minutes. (remove any foil first) mix and add 1 minute increments as needed.
